Walter E. Mosley Jr.'s Obituary
Walter Edward Mosley of Fairfield Twp. passed away suddenly and unexpected on Monday October 5, 2020 in Vineland. Born February 1, 1953, he was the oldest son of Walter E. Sr. and Deleatha Saunders Mosley. Waltie or Walt, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was raised in Fairfield Twp and lived throughout Cumberland County his entire life. He attended elementary school in Fairton and attended Bridgeton High School. As a young man he enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, nice cars and rollerskating. Later in life he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and collecting cans and scrap metals. Always a hard worker, Walt worked at different jobs in this area; Jim Smith's Car Dealership, Murbeck Textile Company, Stevcoknit Fabric Company, John's Scrap Yard, and Woodruff Oil Company where he was a service tech from 1985 until his retirement in 2012, always giving his best effort each of those 27 years.
Walt was predeceased by his parents Walter E. Sr. and Deleatha Mosley, and his youngest brother Gary Brent Mosley. He is survived by his son Walter Samuel Mosley, and his granddaughter Jazmin Marie Mosley, two brothers and their wives, Elmer H. Mosley and Judith, Kenneth W. Mosley and Pascale, his aunts Pauline Cole, Joyce Chambers and her husband Leonard, Martha Saunders, and a host of cousins, neices, nephews, and friends. Walt was a kind hearted gentle soul who enjoyed family functions, and chats with friends. He has made a mark on each of our hearts and we will miss him and always remember him fondly.
