Met Walt when as a young man began working at Murbeck knitting Mill. He was a happy young man, laughing and joking all the time. He always had a listening ear for all and was well liked by absolutely everyone. As the years went on I would occasionally run into him, a bit frail but always drew a smile and in great spirit. I keep a few of the people of Bridgeton in my memories and Walt will definitely be one, for he was a gentle soul with a kind heart. He will be sadly missed. may God sooth the hearts of those that loved him.
