Sarah Porter was an extremely important person in my and my family's life for many reasons and for many years. One of the main reasons for me is because of the fact that she is the reason I was adopted into a wonderful family 38 years ago. She was my godmother but meant so much more. In the past years I have'nt had too many chances to stop by to say hello but she has always and will always be close to my heart. I started at Bridgeton family planning with Sara in 1973 and continued with her until she retired and then with successor agencies along the way. I still have a number of the plants she gave to me along with their progeny.I suppose she still had some I gave to her. Although I have not seen her for several years I will miss her.
