The sweetest preschool teacher ever 🩵 I still remember being in her class and how warm and welcoming she was everyday. That smile could light up a room. My condolences and prayers to her family _Shalona W
I worked with Sara for over 30 years at Fairfield Primary School. We became friends outside of school due to our grandkids being friends and involved in sports. I loved bumping into her at ShopRite or on a sports field. We always planned to go to lunch. I will miss you my friend. RIP, Sara 🙏🏼❤️
I’m saddened of the passing of my early childhood/preschool teacher. I remember being her student at the church across the old Fairfield Intermediate School with Ms Webster-Wright.Also had the honor of being a fifth grade student of her sister Shiela Winchester. I have many happy memories of both and will miss them dearly. Thank You for the great memories,& the recent smile and hug at Shoprite when I spotted you. You aged like fine wine. Rest Easy Ms Mitchell
My sincerest condolences. Mrs.Mitchell was my first grade teacher and one of my favorites. She was as sweet as could be and stern when she needed to. I met some of the best people til this day in her class. Rest in peace I just know all the kids in heaven will love you❤️❤️❤️

Mrs. Mitchell was my first teacher. I will never forget her ♥️
I remember Ms. Mitchell from school. She was always so nice. R.I.P

I taught down the hall from Sara for many years at Fairfield Middle School where her preschoolers were located. We both grew up together in Newport. We both belonged to the same teacher’s union committees for years as well. Sara was a wonderful teacher as well as a friend. I was saddened by her passing. I’m sure she will be missed by her family, coworkers, friends, and former preschoolers. My deepest sympathy goes out to all those who loved her
Aunt Sara was a wonderful person and I was so blessed to be welcomed into the extended Mitchell family many years ago. All the Mitchell’s are so special and Sara will be missed by all her family and friends.
