Arlena (Pinky) Coker
Was shocked when I open the site to see Peggys name and Picture. I was thinking about her a few weeks ago.
I hadn't seen Peggy for years. I use to go spend a week with Uncle Kennard and Aunt Harriett Pierce in the summer.
He would go to see his sister who was Peggy's grandmother. Thats how I knew of her.
His summer home in Elmer wasn't far from her house.
I found out Peggy was living in De. from a cousin .
I believe we connected on line.
When she was in the nursing home. I went to visit her. It had been 50yrs.since I'd seen her
After she went home now and then we would talk. Enjoyed talking about cooking ,needle working folks that we both knew.
Went to visit her one time
A few years ago she was taking dialysis at the same place as my cousin Donnie Coker.
I think the last time we talked was end of last year or beginning of this year.
For all.that she went thur ,she had such a great out look on life.
She is now free of pain.
