DEAR GOD, WHAT A LOSS!!! Cholly was one of the few real "gentlemen" that I've had the privilege of knowing. Several years ago Cholly and his mc club, POW-MIA AWARENESS, attended one of our NJ Mission of Honor Interment Ceremonies for Cremains of American Veterans. It was immediately one of his priorities to make his club's charity for the sake of abandoned veterans, to which, over the years have contributed very generous donations. Cholly insisted that I, as Vice Chairman and State Chaplain of the Mission of Honor, attend the annual Awards Banquet in Bridgeton, along with the other South Jersey Military Motorcycle Clubs, for a presentation. Cholly and I became brothers-from-other-mothers and made sure I was introduced to every member of the club. I could not have been more honored by their friendship and sincerity of purpose. As Chaplain I pray that Almighty God hold Cholly's soul close to His Bosom for all of eternity in recognition of Howard "Cholly" Edward's most wonderful life of service to others. I am devastated by the loss of this great friend.

My deepest sympathy to Charles (as I would call him) and Barbara. Charles was a special man and brother from another mother. The G.O.A.T. Biker, the rider in the night and president of our club. What a cool cat that approached life head on good or bad. The last time I seen him he told me he loved me. I'll cherish that through eternity Charles. You will be missed and honored brother. I will miss you my friend.

Our Deepest Condolences. Your all in our Prayers. Chilly was the Nicest most helpful person I've ever met always ready to help never once said to me not today ,he always said come over lets take a look and he lent me his tools like I owned them. We spent a lot of time together doing charity work for the veterans or helping out other brothers or just having fun lime when Barb,Cholly& I went to Sturgis Dam what a great Time we had. He was a really Great Person loved by all that met him. I will miss him so Much! Many will miss him so much. Much Love & Respect to you my Brother it was a pleasure riding with and for you. I am shattered by the way you were taken away. I thought you would live forever. As my brother-in-law I could always count on you for a Big Hug and you telling me to not make my visits so long in between. You took me under your wing when Joey died and allowed me to ride with the club brothers. We enjoyed many laughs together as that is what we seemed to have done when we were together. You have been the only brother I’ve had since my own family disowned me and I was proud to be related to you not through blood. I have had much heartache with the loss of my husband Joey, my son Drew and now you. The only thing helping me is that you are all together again and can continue where you left off when they died. I am so very sorry that you were hurt so badly because you didn’t deserve that. You helped everyone and anyone because that was who you were. I will miss you so much and it will never be the same when I visit Bridgeton. I love you Cholly and hope to be able to laugh again when it’s my time to leave this earth. Until then brother I hope they serve Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo with French fries on top in heaven Hahahaha REST IN PARADISE my brother and keep watch upon your family and friends who will be lost without you. 🙏🏻😢💔 Love Always, Kimmie

Many , many memories of and about Cholly... I haven’t seen him in years but he looks the same. He was a special guy and always was. When ever we went to his family home we were always welcome and always offered something to eat or drink. Loved riding down in the pit with him and watching the guys have fun. I didn’t know Cholly or Barb for years as a lot of you did. But during the short time, I was welcomed as “family,” an honor I do not take lightly. Cholly was always willing to help a friend...and he always brought his “crew,” the POW-MIA Motorcycle Club. He will be missed. The world is not as bright or beautiful without him. God Bless his family through this difficult time...and Cholly, make sure you save me a “sweet ride” for when I see you again.
