Hilena A Purnell's Obituary
Hilena A Purnell, 68, of Fairfield TWP passed Sunday, October 12, 2025 after battling a period of declining health at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. She was born November 16, 1956 to the late Martha (Washington) and Hilton F Purnell Sr. She was a lifelong resident of the greater Bridgeton area.
Hilena was a proud graduate of the Bridgeton High School class of 1975 and went on to work for many years at The Claridge Hotel and Casino before taking a position locally at the Kintock Group. She leaves her memory to be cherished by her sister Yvonne Purnell- Scurry and brothers Hilton F Purnell Jr. and Raymond Purnell amongst a host of additional cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Hilena was predeceased by her parents Martha L. (Washington) and Hilton F. Purnell Sr.
The family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate Hilena's life at a later date.
