Grandpop, it's difficult to think of a life without you in it. Memories that come to mind are New Jersey summers, family picnics & pig roasts, Hess trucks, go karts out back, good music, lots of laughter, pole beans from the vine, hymnals in church, pancake breakfasts compliments of Grandmom Elaine before going on the airplane journey back to Texas, most of all -meaningful family times spent together.
Remember when you came to see me in Texas and come to find out, we had no ceremony to go to because I didn't graduate? You and Dad also were the ones to drop me off at the MEPS when I signed that dotted line for the Air Force.
I feel really blessed to have had you throughout my life all these years and my boys getting to know you.
I love and miss you Pop Pop, always will.
Rest easy <3
