1954 Bridgeton Little League All Star Game. Bridgeton National League Versus Bridgeton American League. Gene played for the Bridgeton National League Team. He broke the heart of the Bridgeton American League Team.. The game was tight with the Bridgeton American League up by a run or two when Gene came to bat with the bases loaded and hit a grand slam Homerun. He powered his team to a win. He was a great person and I'm proud to have known Gene. He was a perfect gentleman in every way.
