Anthony Barnabei's Obituary
Anthony Barnabei , 80 of Elkin, North Carolina passed away on June 5, 2008. Although he had been in declining health his death was unexpected.
Born in Vineland, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria D'Auito Barnabei and the husband of the late Janet Brooks Barnabei. He had been a resident of the Elkin area for many years, and had previously lived in Vineland and Rosenhayn. Anthony worked for the Landis Sewage Authority for many years until his retirement in 1993. He was a veteran serving in both the US Navy and US Army. He loved hunting and fishing, his mountain in North Carolina and his grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters Shirley Bedwell of Elkin, NC and Toni Schilling of Bridgeton, four grandchildren Sherry L. Wilson, Larry A. Wilson, Mike A. Barnabei and Steven P. Barnabei- Cooper, five great grandchildren, several sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Janet, he was predeceased by his great granddaughter Haly
