Amelia T Cominsky's Obituary
Amelia T Cominsky, of Vineland, passed away suddenly Sunday afternoon in Cooper Medical Center, Camden where she had been a patient for one day. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Doris (Street) Davis and the companion of the late Robert Leach.
Amelia had been an area resident all of her life and had worked for 30 years in Healthcare, starting with the former Newcomb Hospital in Vineland where she worked in Sterile Processing as a Sterile Technician, and upon Newcomb’s closing she worked for Inspira Medical Center until her retirement in 2015.
Amelia was a quiet loving person who although faced many obstacles and trials in her life, never complained. Her love of animals as a child grew into her adult years taking in injured or stray animals, including the Rooster that showed up on her deck not long ago. She especially had a passion for cats who seemed to migrate to her. Additionally, her nurturing nature extended beyond animals to include her children's friends, treating them as part of her family. She was very crafty and a excellent seamstress, making her own clothes for herself and her children. She loved decorating for Christmas and would sew and create decorations for family and friends. Amelia was a hard worker, and her dedication as a mother and grandmother undoubtedly will leave a lasting impact on her loved ones.
She is survived by her three sons, Bill Gould and his wife Renee of Vineland, Mark Gould and his wife Stefanie of Upper Deerfield Twp., Michael Cominsky of Vineland, and her daughter, Michelle “Shelly” Gould of Florida, her grandchildren, Conor Antorino and his wife Desirae, Tyler Antorino, William Jimenez Seviidal and Takara Tsosie, Benjamin Gould, Elijah Mark Gould and wife Christine, Jonathon Jacob Wilbur Gould, great grandchildren, Maya Gould , Kaleigha Sevidal, and Allison and Liam Antorino.
