Trudy Ann Davis

May 22, 1949 - November 15, 2009

Trudy Ann " The Cookie Lady" Davis went home to be with the Lord on Sunday November 15, 2009 after a brief illness at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Vineland. Trudy was the second child of six children born on May 22, 1949 to the union of Nathaniel Henry Davis and the late Bernice nee Manor Davis. She had attended the local schools in Bridgeton and was a graduate of Bridgeton High School class of 1968. Trudy had held various jobs over the years but her favorite pastime and what she will be remembered for is her love of the Lord, Cooking, and being a Child Care Provider. Her favorite colors were blue, bluish green, pink and fuschia. Trudy had a true gift for cooking and baking, she was known to always have a line at her front and back doors as the kids and adults as well, would wait for a batch of her chocolate chip cookies to be finished. Walking by faith in June of 1978 she became a member of the St. James Deliverance Church in South Egg Harbor City, NJ. She was a member of the Missionary Board and a member of the Senior Praise Team, she will be remembered by her church family as always having a smile and a cake that she had baked to give away to someone. For the last two years Trudy attended the Senior Care Center of Vineland, NJ and she will be remembered for her love of the Lord, Her love for grandchildren, and her love of people. She was always brimming with enthusiasm, joyfulness and hearty hugs. As she has gone home to be with the Lord , the memories are left to be cherished and remembered by her son Craig H. Davis and his wife Connienee Riley of Bridgeton, her father Nathaniel H. Davis of Bridgeton, her five grandchildren Adam, Breyan, Camri, Craig Jr., and Chyna all of Bridgeton, sisters Delores Eady of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Henrietta Davis of Dublin GA, and Bernice Rankin of Bridgeton, and her brother Henry Thomas Davis III and his wife Kim of Bridgeton, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. In Heavens Arms, Trudy "Cookie Lady" Davis we love you and you will be truly missed
