Wilma J Facemyer's Obituary
Wilma J. Facemyer, 87 of Upper Deerfield Township, passed late Tuesday evening February 4, 2025, at the Jefferson University Hospital in Turnersville, NJ after a period of declining health. Born in Hartford, Tennessee she was the daughter of the late Cephas and Martha Frazier (Jenkins). Wilma moved to New Jersey in 1955 after graduating high school from her home state and would go on to marry her beloved husband, the late Robert T. Facemyer August 12, 1958.
Wilma held many pastimes and hobbies including a love for crochet, quilting, crossword and other assorted puzzles, and particularly the game Yahtzee! She enjoyed sunbathing and reading on her porch, and was a proud member of the local Victory Assembly of God Church, where she enjoyed attending her women's Bible Study group classes in addition to attending Sunday services. Wilma loved to travel when she could, particularly visiting family in Florida or returning to her home state of Tennessee. But what she enjoyed most was spending time with her growing family, particularly her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Wilma is survived by her four children: Richard Facemyer (Bonnie), Wanda Carr (Scott), Vicki Fowler (Tony), and Debra Dahlquist (Dave), twelve grandchildren; Dawn Liberati, Kevin Facemyer (Stephanie), Scott Carr Jr. (Anna), Alisha Sheppard (David), Melody Orme (Jacob), Joshua Freeman (Brittany), Erin Branch (Shane), James Reed (Mckala), Heather Corbett, Autumn Fowler (Jacob), David Dahlquist III(Kelsey), and Devyn Lake (Jordan), and 22 great- grandchildren in addition to two brothers, Charles & Larry Frazier, and a sister-in-law Juanita Frazier.
In addition to her late husband Robert, she was predeceased by three brothers Edward, Fred, and Ronald Frazier.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation period and funeral services Saturday morning February 8, 2025 beginning at 10AM at the Sray- Webster Funeral Home 62 Landis Ave. in Upper Deerfield. Wilma's son in law the Rev. Dr. Scott Carr Sr. and the Rev. Ralph Siegel will be conducting funeral services. The interment will take place following in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider a donation to the Victory Assembly of God Building Fund or the Wounded Warrior Project in support and honor of our Veterans in need.
