William Heath's Obituary
William Heath of Bridgeton passed Sunday afternoon June 19, 2022 at his residence under the care of Hospice and with his family by his side. He was 78 years old. Born in Saltville, Virginia, he was the son of James Berkley and Lily Mae Heath, and the husband of Ann (Ayars) Heath. This December, Mr and Mrs. Heath would have celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary.
William moved to this area in 1967 from Virginia seeking employment. He soon met Ann, the love of his life and they were united in matrimony. William was employed with the former Bridgeton Dye and Finishing Company and Minot's. He spent his last years employed for the Bridgeton Board of Education in maintenance where he retired in 2020. He was a long time member of the The Church of The Resurrection where he served for many years as a usher and helping serve with the Food Pantry.
Surviving him are his wife Ann, two daughters, Lori Williams and Tammy Morris, five grandchildren, William Phillip Ortiz, Katelan Williams, Daniel Williams, Danica Morris, Autumn Knipe, three great grandchildren, Mavis Wiiliams, Mizuri Jeffcoat, Kayden Williams, and several nieces, nephews, and various relatives.
A memorial service celebrating William's life will be held on Sunday July 17, 2022 at 5:00 pm at the Church of The Resurrection 1209 West Main Street Millville, NJ.
