William H. Holder's Obituary
William H. Holder 83, of Bridgeton went home to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon February 10, 2007 in the Regional Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Bridgeton the son of the late Lincoln and Mary nee O?Loughlin Holder, he was the devoted husband of Elizabeth ?Betsy? nee Uber Holder.
Mr. Holder attended Bridgeton public schools and was a graduate of the class of 1942. He was formerly employed for 30 years as a manager with the PJ Ritter Co. in Bridgeton and also as Personel Director at the Cumberland Manor, until his retirement in 1986. He was an active and devoted member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church in Bridgeton where he served as a Deacon, and he enjoyed working in his yard and garden.
Surviving him besides his wife of 62 years are one son Philip Holder and his wife Caroline of Morrisville, PA, one brother James Holder of Bridgeton, one sister in law Barbara Holder of Bridgeton, and three grandchildren Ashley, Samantha, and Brandon Holder, five nephews, and three nieces.
He was predeceased besides his parents by one brother Jack Holder, and one sister Catherine Parisi.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday February 15, 2007 from the New Hope Presbyterian Church 65 Hitchner Ave. Bridgeton, NJ at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Claude Taylor officiating. The interment will be in the family plot at Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton.
Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
