William Felmey, Jr.'s Obituary
William Felmey Jr., aged 69 years of Stow Creek, passed away suddenly Sunday morning in Inspira Medical Center, Elmer. Although he had been in failing health for the past five years, his death was unexpected.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late William and Catherine Juanita C. Felmey, and the husband of Anne (nee Newkirk) Felmey, his wife of 37 years. Bill was a welder by trade, and held many jobs in construction over the years, but his love was driving truck. He was employed for twenty years until his retirement in 2013 due to health issues with Centerton Nursery as a truck driver. He had also formerly worked for Woodruff Energy and owned and operated a Christmas Tree Farm on his property in Stow Creek. He was a past member of the Hopewell Stow Creek Fire Dept. He enjoyed hunting especially with his bow and arrow. He loved life and was always ready to tell a good story or sit back and hear one being told. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving him is his wife Anne, his daughter Stephanie F. Moore of Georgia, and his three grandchildren, Corey I Felmey, Alysha (Lisa) Moore, and Charles M. Donaghy. He was predeceased besides his parents by a daughter he and Anne raised, Diane Leslie.
