Sandra Ayer
Memories of Bill--he loved Arizona and his home there, loved being outside enjoying his pool and tending his garden. He also appreciated the art of his area, historic places, the mountains, and desert plants and creatures. An intelligent man, he was trained as a pilot and seemed to continue to love aviation. He loved old westerns of the John Wayne type, and I seem to remember he had a fondness for black cats. He loved San Francisco and the area because he had some of his military training there. From seeing Bill with his son Billy, I could see they had a very loving fond relationship. His relationship with my mother Dorthy Lee was also very warm and they seemed very happy together. He was fortunate to live such a long life and be in good strong health for most of it.
May he rest in peace.
