Wilden H. Woody "Gentle Cougar" Cuff's Obituary
Wilden “ Woody” Harold Cuff “Gentle Cougar” aged 47 years of Alloway Twp. passed away suddenly on Thursday afternoon May 31, 2018 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Woody was the son of Louise Cuff and the late Nathan Cuff III.
Woody graduated from Woodstown High School. Until his health failed him, he was employed as a painter with Kennedy Concrete of Vineland, and prior to that he had worked as a painter for United Rentals in Vineland.
He enjoyed helping with Haven United Methodist Church’s food distribution program, “ Manna @ Haven”. He joined Haven’s Trustee board even before becoming a member of the church. He worked hard cutting the grass and taking care of the church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and helping others. Woody was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Tribal Nation of Bridgeton.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Louise Cuff, three sisters Philomena Salter, Roxann Winrow, and Linda (Billy) Goff, four brothers Dennis (Diane) Cuff, Roy (Shirley) Cuff, Anthony “Tony” (Jayne) Cuff, Robert (Joann) Cuff, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Besides his father, he was predeceased by two brothers Nathaniel Cuff IV and Kenneth Cuff.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
