Wendell W. Harmon Sr.'s Obituary
Wendell W. "Teet" Harmon Sr., 70, of Bridgeton died suddenly Monday December 19, 2011 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center emergency room, Vineland, after suffering from a heart condition. His death was sudden and unexpected.
Born in Millville, he was the son of the late Dallas Harmon and Ruth nee Pierce Money, and the husband of Barbara E. nee Garland Harmon. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon had been area residents all of their lives. Wendell was employed for the past 12 years with Durand Glass in Millville where he worked as a Corker, prior to, he had worked for 33 years in the former Ball Foster Glass plant also in Millville, until its closing. He used to enjoy building and selling picnic tables, and watching sports on television especially football, basketball and the Phillies. He also loved doing word searches found in magazines and newspapers. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his two children, Wendell W. Harmon Jr. and his wife Diana of Burlington County, and Alisa Harmon of Bridgeton, his brother and sisters, Allen H. Money of Fairfield Twp., Phyllis Henry of Millville, Marlene Williams of Bridgeton, Georgianna Nesbitt of Vineland, Sheila Carter of Shiloh, Elizabeth Money of Bridgeton and Judith Gayle of Ocean City, NJ, his two grandchildren Joshua Harmon and Temera Harmon, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Lester Pierce and Eugene Pierce and a sister Glendora Money.
