Vicky Ann White's Obituary
Lovingly submitted by Vicky’s daughter, Chris Ann Fox: “It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that my beautiful mother, Vicky White, moved on to glory from my arms to her Saviours arms and was reunited with her beloved husband, David at 5:26 pm this afternoon in a peaceful way I didn’t know was possible. She has fought for years, but her gallstones were to be her arch nemesis causing her much pain and way too many what we called “episodes” that no one could diagnose until the middle of November. Due to COVID she wasn’t able to have me or Kevin stay with her like I normally do to keep her calm, focused and to get what she needed throughout the day and then to a nursing home where she couldn’t have any visitors. She formed hospital dementia which in combination with her early Alzheimer’s it take her down. She came home for Christmas, but was never the same and started the slow road to major deterioration.
Throughout it all we had the best friends and sisters who stepped up to help us in caring for her. Honestly, we don’t know what we would’ve done without all of the ones we’ve had over the years, and especially the last year or two. Terri Sippio, Dee Grant Marks, Marie Stewart, Susan Behm, Sandra Ernst Fenske, Winnie Lawrence, Talya M Mendez, and I know I’m forgetting some very important people - please forgive me, but tag yourself in the comments if you blessed us. The nurses, therapists - OMG - Lisa Meyers, Stacey, Charlene Burton, Stephanie, and the list goes on…. We cannot thank you all enough - you were such a blessing and so much appreciated! ❤
Mom leaves behind seven children, Marge Wingate & Bill; Debbie Soucek & Bobby (Ray & Amy Conrad & Brian Conrad and fiancé Jo-Denise Muller-Bolton); Al Cunningham & Sharon (Christie & Jonathan Cunningham); Kevin Fox and Myself (Ashley Snyder); Patti Lupton & Billy (Courtney Wilson, Troy Taylor, Danielle M Barrilli) Jennifer Cochran Phillips & Lenny (Tiffany Phillips, Donald Hymer, Sami Hymer, Lilirose Phillips and Jordan Phillips); Jessica White Kemeny; Jeanne Cochran & Ron (Mike & Tamara Wolbert, Brittany & Andrew Ledden, Shannon Leigh & Dan and Christopher O’Brien) and numerous great grand-children all of whom she loved sooo much.
We take great joy in knowing that she made the most important decision in her life second to the birth of her children and marrying her Dave when she asked Jesus to forgive her sins and asked him into her heart. Her and Dave (Dad) thrived while they served the Lord. They served at Carl’s Corner Community Fellowhip, Fortescue Chapel, Living Faith Alliance and most recently Mom served at Calvary Fellowship Cedarville, as well Malaga Camp Meeting where they had resided until Dad’s death. They also never lost their love of antiques and shopping yard sales for special finds. But both of their true joy was any time they got to spend with their kids and grandchildren playing board games, barbecuing or watching their favorite tv shows and movies.
Per Mom’s request there will be no viewing or public ceremony. The family and those who were considered close family will celebrate their Mom and Dad’s lives the way she has already specified.”
