Vicky Vezevicius' Obituary
Vicky Vezevicius of Newfield passed away suddenly on Tuesday August 15, 2023 in Inspira Medical Center Vineland. She was 56 years old. Born in Salem, May 28, 1967, she was the daughter of William R. and Roxanne (Hitchner) Hornblower.
Vicky was a strong and hard working woman who would set own her needs aside in order to help others close to her. She had a wonderful laugh and a big heart. She loved shopping for gifts to spoil her nieces and nephews, and always looked forward to family movies and game nights. She played ball with her dog Champ in the yard almost every day. Vicky enjoyed cooking and baking for others to enjoy and she recently took up gardening, spending countless hours watering, weeding, and planting in her mothers garden. The yard was vibrant and beautiful, and she enjoyed spending time on the back deck admiring the birds and butterflies that the flowers drew.
She was a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, a mother, an aunt and a best friend.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica Hornblower, two sons, Steven and Ryan, her parents William R. and Roxanne Hornblower, her brother Willliam Hornblower and his son Douglas and daughter Amanda, her brother Steven Hornblower and his wife Karen and their son Christopher and daughter Alyssa, her brother James Hornblower and his wife Cynthia and their daughters Miranda and Madelin, and her beloved Jack Russell, Champ (whom Jessica refers to as "Moms Favorite").
The family would like to send a special thanks to Jeff and Tracy along with countless others who have reached out with their love, support, and acts of kindness. It is times like these that remind us of how precious life really is. Words cannot begin to express how grateful the family truly is to have you in ours.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday August 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm from New Hope Presbyterian Church 65 Hitchner Ave. Bridgeton, NJ. The church pastor Rev Claude Taylor will officiate. The interment will be in Olivet Cemetery, Pittsgrove Twp. A visitation will take place at the church from 12:30 -1:00 pm
