Vickie Lynn Rivera's Obituary
Vickie Lynn Rivera, 47 of Millville passed away suddenly on Thursday November 15, 2007 in Thomas Jefferson University, after a brief and sudden illness. Her death was unexpected.
Vickie was born in Bridgeton July 14, 1960 to Samuel Rivera and the late Bertha nee Loatman Rivera, and had grew up in Hopewell Twp. She attended Hopewell Twp school and Cumberland Regional High School. She was employed with Let's Do Linens in Bridgeton and had previously worked at Hopewell Custard. She loved to play cards, especially poker with family and friends. She also loved caring for her many houseplants and attending parties where there was music and dancing. She was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all. Surviving her besides her father Samuel, are her two daughters Erica L. Rivera of Millville, and Tiffiney D. Carney of Fairfield Twp., three brothers Ernest Ronald Cuff and his wife Caroline of Hopewell Twp., Carlos Antonio "Tony" Rivera and his wife Myra Jane of Hopewell Twp., Michael Rivera and his wife Heather of Fairfield Twp., seven sisters, Sheila Marie Timmons and her husband Terry of Harrington, DE, Sharon M. Mosley of Milford, DE, Gloria Jeanne Rivera of Bridgeton, Maria Ridgway and her husband David Jr. of Fairfield Twp., Carla Jill Pierce and her husband Michael Clifford Pierce of Germany, Carmen Rae Moore and her husband Jeremiah Durham Moore of Fairfield Twp., and Angela Joan Rivera Zera of Bridgeton. Three grandchildren Alexia Willis, Mar'yah Jones, and Ramon Soto, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased besides her mother in January, one sister Denise Rivera, and one brother, Larry Cuff.
