Veronica Quigley's Obituary
Veronica Quigley 83, of Stow Creek Twp. passed away early Sunday morning September 29, 2013, at her home under hospice care.
Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Kostante and Stella (nee Luberta) Barchanowicz, and the wife of the late Ralph Quigley Sr. who passed away in 2002. Veronica was formerly employed for 28 years with Owens Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton, until her retirement in 1983. She loved traveling, gardening, and working in her yard. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with her many friends at the Upper Deerfield Twp. Senior Center. She is survived by her loving son, Ralph Quigley Jr. of Stow Creek Twp. She was predeceased besides her parents and husband by two brothers, Joseph Barchanowicz and Andrew Barchanowicz; and her two sisters, Francis Lombard and Margaret Dingel. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday October 7, at 11:00 a.m. from the First Wesleyan Church 200 North Laurel St. Bridgeton, NJ. Private graveside services will be held in Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
Cremation and Inurnment took place in Camden County Crematory, Waterford Twp.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Veronica be made to any of the following charities: First Wesleyan Church, 200 North Laurel St. Bridgeton, NJ 08302; Edgar Joyce Senior Center, 1325 Highway 77 Seabrook, NJ 08302; or to Inspira Hospice PO Box 160, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
