Thomas J. St. Clair Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas J. St. Clair, aged 72 years, of Bridgeton passed away on Wednesday afternoon in Eagleview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pittsgrove Twp. after a lengthy illness.
Born in Welch, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Fred and Dulcy (nee Stevens) St. Clair, and husband of Shirley (nee Kenelia) St. Clair. Thomas had been an area resident since 1962, moving here from West Virginia.
Thomas was formerly employed for many years until his health failed him with Owens Illinois in Bridgeton in the Shipping Department as a forklift operator. He was well known as a Mr. Fixit and loved building and repairing everything and anything. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He loved watching cooking shows and enjoyed trying out his newly found recipes in the kitchen. He was also very fond of his cat Scooter.
Surviving him besides his wife Shirley, is his son, Thomas J. St. Clair Jr. of Elmer, his three sisters, Doris Alibrando, Julie Caudill, Ruth Elwell, his two brothers, Jerry St. Clair and John St. Clair, and a host of nieces nephews and various relatives.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Monday October 13, 2014 in Woodruff Methodist Cemetery, Finley Road, Bridgeton at 11:30 a.m.
