Thomas Goldie Jones Jr.'s Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” G. Jones Jr. of Fairfield Twp. passed away suddenly Friday morning, December 23, 2022, in Inspira Medical Center, Elmer. Although he had been in declining health, his death was unexpected. Born August 6,1968 in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Thomas G Sr. and Judith A. (Gould) Jones.
Tommy was a resident of Fairfield and a graduate of Cumberland Regional High School. He was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Nation of Bridgeton and had formerly worked for Turtle Associates within the tribe. He was also formerly employed at Ollie’s in Upper Deerfield and as a parking lot line painter. He enjoyed building model cars, fishing, and taking care of his many cats.
Besides his mother and father, Tommy was predeceased by his brother Melvin L. Jones in 2021. He is survived by aunts and uncles, Harry W. Gould and Carol of Delaware, Maybell and Herbert “Butch” Pierce of Fairfield Twp., and Leroy Jones of Vineland, several cousins and many friends. At the family’s request there will be no funeral services.
