Thelma Marie Burt's Obituary
Thelma Marie Burt departed this life on Monday June 4, 2018 at the age of 66 in Hilton Head, SC. She was born on July 5, 1951 in Bridgeton, NJ. She was the eighth of nine children born to the late William and Marquerite Cuff Harmon. Thelma resided in Bluffton, SC for the past 12 years with her husband Ronnie Burt.
Before moving to South Carolina, Thelma worked for the Vineland Developmental Center for 25 years. She was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton. Upon retirement, Thelma enjoyed traveling, cooking for family and friends, and being Nana to her grandchildren.
Thelma leaves to mourn her husband Ronnie, Children: Olin Gould (Ingrid), Eric Gould, Ronnie Jr. (Donna), Tongi, Elisa (Sidney), Rochelle (Troy), Grandchildren: Asia, Eric Jr., Kristian, Lauryn, Cameran, Camille, Sean, Ethan, Austin, Jonas, and Nicholai, Daughter in Laws: Irene and Michelle, two sisters: Gwendolyn Swift, and Pearla Harmon, a brother John Harmon, her aunt Betty Cuff, Sir Winston Burt her Cocker Spaniel, godchildren: Alexandria, Chucky, Ernest Jr. and mother in law, Margaret Burt along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings: Frank, William, Jr., Arlene (Debbie) Charles, and Carolyce (Marion).
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. Upper Deerfield Twp., at Carll’s Corner. Viewings will be held both Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00p.m. and also Thursday morning two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
