Susan K. Helbach's Obituary
Susan Karen Helbach, (nee Perri) aged 61 years of Upper Deerfield Township, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at home under Hospice care surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with cancer.
She was born October 11, 1954; the daughter of Marjorie Consalo and the late Joseph Perri, and the wife of Douglas J. Helbach, Sr.
Susan was previously employed with the Reinhard Modeling Agency in Philadelphia, PA and the Ford Modeling Agency in New York. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting, and watching QVC. She loved visiting the beach and walks on the boardwalk. Susan cherished her family the most and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived for her four grandchildren who brought her great joy in life. She was truly beloved by her entire family and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Sr., her sons: Douglas J. Helbach Jr. and his wife April and Jonathan S. Helbach and his wife Christie; her mother, Marjorie Consalo; her siblings: Marjorie Hovermann and her husband Dieter, Stephen Perri, Renee Cheesman and her husband Ronald, and Joseph Perri Jr., and brother-in-law Donn Helbach; her 4 grandchildren: Dillon, Sophia, Carter, and Adalynne Helbach; 9 nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Perri.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. At the family’s request, funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations in Susan’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Department, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, Tennessee, 38148 with reference to Memorial ID # 10612573, or donations may also be made to St. Jude’s by calling the toll free number 1-800-822-6344 referencing the Memorial ID.
