Stephen J. Green's Obituary
Stephen J. Green, aged 70 years of Hopewell Twp., and formerly of Fortescue, passed away on Friday afternoon at home under the care of Hospice.
Born in Franklinville, he was the son of the late Walter and Jessie Mae (nee Kessel) Green and the longtime companion of Patricia Richardson. Stephen and Pat had just recently moved to Hopewell Twp.
Stephen worked for many years as a chemical operator for National Refrigerant in Rosenhayn. He was a proud veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He loved fishing and also enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his companion Patricia, his children: James Green and his companion Chrystal of Millville, Holly Green and her companion Ian Tracy of Norma, and stepson, Jesse Howell of South Carolina; one brother, William Miller of Fortescue and several grandchildren. He was predeceased besides his parents by a son, Steven Green.
At Stephen’s request, funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
