Sheila Darlene Durham Mosley's Obituary
Sheila Darlene Durham Mosley, 76 of Millville, passed away suddenly Saturday October 8, 2022 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland where she had been a patient for the past four days. Born in Smyrna, Delaware August 11,1946, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Sergent Durham and Edith Pearl (Reed) Durham.
Darlene was a 1964 graduate of Smyrna High School and furthered her education attending both Wesley College and Goldey-Beacom College. She worked at Slaughter Beverage, Lamar Dover Leeds Luggage in Clayton DE, Red Pack Inc, and Cardinal Health in Swedesboro where she retired. Darlene loved spending her past time cooking, baking, and finding new recipes on Facebook giving them a try. It was a must that she watch “All My Children” or “The Young and The Restless”, and at 3:00 pm it was General Hospital. She also loved playing cards (prior to their passing) with her Uncle Allen and Aunt Mary Reed. She was called “Nana” by all the kids that were friends of her children. Back in the day, she was an Avid Car Racer at Delmar Raceway, seeing how fast her 67 Camaro would go in the 1/4 mile.
In December of 1970, she was United in Marriage to Charles Mosley, and from this union brought their daughter Arthalinda Dale Mosley Pierce, Charles Laurence Mosley, and Allen David Mosley. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Arthalinda and Leroy Pierce, Charles Mosley and Danielle Martin, Allen and Crystal Mosley, her sister Wanda Jean Durham Gould Parton, 11grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and various other relatives. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 12:30 pm in Fernwood Memorial Park , Hopewell Twp. A funeral home visitation will take place from 10:30 - 12:00 pm.
