Schnaill M Forrest's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Schnaill Wise Forrest
Schnaill Maie Forrest, 55, of Hopewell Township, transitioned unexpectedly Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. She was born in Bridgeton, NJ on March 4, 1970, to Clifford Wise Sr. and the late Karen Lee Forman and would go on to become a lifelong resident of the area.
Schnaill was the heart of her family—steady, nurturing, and wise. In her free time, she loved to crochet and cook--skills she excelled in. In addition, along with her daughter and granddaughters, she started a line of all-natural skin care. She also enjoyed British Broadcasting Corp television shows and soaps. Her life was a reflection of compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering love. Schnaill loved to make her house a home.
She poured herself into her children and grandchildren, always showing up with a listening ear, warm embrace, or insightful words that soothed the soul. Her home was a place of comfort and laughter, where traditions were kept, lessons were passed down, and every person felt seen.
She wasn’t just someone's sister, she was a friend, a mother, a caregiver, Schnail had a big heart and lots of love to give. Even if it was tough love. Her family meant everything to her, and she carried each bond with care and pride. Her wisdom was sought by many, and her legacy of kindness will echo through the generations to come.
Schnaill Wise Forrest’s presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. She is survived by her beloved children: Tishika and Tyrell Wise, Wayne Jr., Derrick Forrest and Andrea Hickman-Forrest (daughter-in-law); a host of grandchildren, nephews and nieces; her brothers: Michael Forman and Clifford “Shock” Wise; father, Clifford “Skip” Wise, and many other family members and friends whose lives were forever shaped by her spirit.
She was predeceased by her mother, Karen (Forman) Wise, her brothers, Steven Forman and Tremayne Wise, and her grandparents, Charles and Catherine Forman and Mary Jackson. Her memory will be honored every day in the stories her family tells, the values they uphold, and the love they continue to share.
By request there will be no funeral services, but a celebration of life will be planned at a later date and time.
