Sarah M. Moore's Obituary
Sarah M. nee Staub Moore 95 of Bridgeton and formerly of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Tuesday December 14, 2010 at her home.
Born in Hopewell Twp. May 3, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth nee Bell Staub, and the wife of the late Belford P. Moore who passed away in 1994. Sarah grew up and attended school in Shiloh and was a graduate of the 1928 eighth grade class, and a 1932 graduate from Bridgeton High School. She then went on to pursue a career in nursing and graduated from the Salem County Vocational School as an Licensed Practical Nurse. She then worked for 17 years at Elmer Hospital until her retirement in 1976. She had also previously worked in her earlier years for Seabrook Bros. and Sons and Owens Illinois in Bridgeton. Sarah was a long time member of Deerfield Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and on the Women's Guild. She enjoyed life and always wanted to look her best, for family and friends. She is survived by one daughter Laura M. Moore of Seattle, WA and numerous nieces and nephews. Sarah was predeceased besides her husband Belford by two brothers John C. Staub and Edmond Staub, and one sister Hadassah Berkey.
