Santos Castro's Obituary
Santos Castro, aged 59 years of Bridgeton, passed away on Sunday evening October 23, 2016 in South Jersey Extended Care after a brief illness.
Born in Salina, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Epeiipfanio Castro and Pura Montan’ez Castro. Santos was employed with AJM Packaging in Vineland and had previously worked for Silverton Yacht in Millville prior to its closing. He enjoyed playing softball on several teams and church leagues in the Cumberland County area. He was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He is survived by his children, Carmen A. Castro, Santos Castro Jr., Jamayra Castro, Brian Castro, Louis D. Castro, Jah’zyiah Cook, Hector Castro, Chamir Butcher, Lavar Butcher, Leona Butcher, and James Butcher; his two sisters, Analuz Couch (Steve) and Miriam Vargas; brothers, Elias Garcia (Ada), Edwin Escobar, and many grandchildren. He was predeceased besides his parents by a brother Israel Ayala. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday October 27, 2016 at 12:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A viewing will be held from 11:00a.m. till 12:00. Interment will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield Twp.
