Rudolph H. Pierce's Obituary
Rudolph H. Pierce 63 of Newark, Delaware, died suddenly on Friday January 18, 2013 at his home. His death was unexpected.
Born in Bridgeton, NJ he was the son of the late Wayman A.Jr. and Bernetta S. (nee Lockman) Pierce, and the husband of the late Pauline (nee Jones) Pierce. Mr. Pierce had resided in Newark for the last 12 years and had previously lived in the Bridgeton and Salem, New Jersey areas.
Rudy was employed with DuPont Chambers Works of Delaware for the past 30 years. He was a computer programmer and analyst. He was a former member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses of Bridgeton, and a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton.
Surviving him to cherish his memory are his two sons, Kyle Pierce and Glenn Pierce of Newark, his two brothers Curtis N. Pierce and his wife Debra of Bridgeton, Vincent H. Pierce and his wife Audrey of Bridgeton, one sister Sheila Y. (Pierce) Nichols and her husband Harold of Bridgeton, and several nieces and nephews, Victor Nichols and his wife Sheron, and their children Victor Jr. and Victoria, Sheila Pierce, Curtis Pierce Jr., Corey Nichols, Curtis Nichols, Kelly Pierce, Brian Pierce, Vincent Pierce Jr., and Willie Cisrow III.
He was predeceased besides his parents and wife by a brother Wayman Pierce III.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday January 26, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. NJ. The interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp. NJ. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
