Rosa B. Jones' Obituary
Rosa B. Jones, 80 of Bridgeton died early Friday morning October 31, 2008 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland. She had been in failing health for the past two years.
Born in Burkville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hartis Roberts and Lottie Jones Brown, and the wife of the late Richard Jones. She had been a resident of the Bridgeton area for the past 55 years. Mrs. Jones was formerly employed with Venice Maid Company in Vineland until her retirement. She was a member of the Union Baptist Temple Church in Bridgeton. She was well known by many for her willingness to be a server and giver to anyone in need. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Surviving her to cherish her memory are three sons Marion Jacobs Jr. of Trenton, NJ , Larry Robinson and his wife Carolyn of Millville, Lonnie Robinson of Bridgeton, four daughters Gearldine Robinson Morrell of Bridgeton, Barbara Robinson of Bridgeton, Gloria Jean Davis of Chester, Pennsylvania and Rita Jones Edwards and her husband Benjamin of Bridgeton, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased besides her mother, father and husband by four sisters Lottie B. Dunbar, Mary Elizabeth Newsome, Lydia Woodson, and Doreatha Crosby, three brothers Joseph Mclain Brown, James Roberts, Melvin Roberts and one grandson Karlton Fleeks.
