Ronald W. Street's Obituary
Ronald Wayne Street Sr. age 71 of Gouldtown, NJ earned his wings on March 24, 2024 after an extended illness. Ronnie was born on December 2, 1952 in Bridgeton, NJ to the late Annabelle (Jones) Street and the late William (Pedro) Peterson and went on to graduate from Bridgeton High School as part of the class of 1971. On June 20, 1992 Ronnie married Betty Goldsboro also of Gouldtown, NJ and from this union two sons (Ronald Jr & Dylan) were born.
Ronnie retired from the Bridgeton School system, but was also employed at Murbecks, Golden Nugget, Bally's Grand, Taj Mahal, Showboat, and Borgota Casinos in Atlantic City, NJ. Ronnie's greatest passion was music, and he was crazy about playing his guitars. He loved jazz music and was equally talented and dedicated to his craft. In his earlier years Ronnie played with the Soul Spindles, Rise, FM Band, and later in life he formed another band called The New Dimension. Up until his declining health, he also played for The Voice of Deliverance church along with The Funkylicious Band and Reggie Harris and Friends Band.
Ronnie leaves his memories to his wife Betty Street of Gouldtown, NJ, Two son's Ronald Street Jr. and Dylan Street both of Gouldtown, NJ, One grandson Ronald Street III of Atlanta, GA, and Three bonus grandsons DJ, Jon, and Christian Risheed of Atlanta, GA. Ronnie was predeceased in death by his parents Annabelle (Jones) Street and William (Pedro) Peterson, Three brothers David Street, Robert Street, Edwin Street, and One sister Phyllis Street.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday April 6, 2024 at the Sray- Webster Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9-11AM with the service and internment following at Fordville Memorial Park.
