Roger A. Price, Sr.'s Obituary
Roger Allen Price Sr. 62 of Bridgeton died suddenly on Friday April 28, 2006 as the result of an accidental drowning. Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Francis and Pauline nee Pierce Price and the grandson of the late Pearl and Arthur Pierce Sr. by whom he was raised.
Roger was educated in the Bridgeton area public schools and enlisted in the United States Army in 1965, serving as a SP4 from 1965 to 1967 while stationed in Germany. He was formerly employed with Owens Illinois in Bridgeton.
Surviving him are three children, a son Roger A. Price Jr. of Millville, two daughters Denise Hall of Haddonfield, NJ , and Pamela M. Price, of Millville, one brother Francis Price Jr. of Savannah, GA, two sisters Eleanor James and her husband Gilbert of Bridgeton, and Phyllis James of Massachusetts, four grandchildren Ciera Price, Tre Price, Dimitri Price, and Deja Price. Roger will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who had a good and kind heart, he will be sadly missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 62 Landis Ave. at Carll?s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twsp. at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Carla James Lee will officiate. The interment will take place in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Twsp.
Friends may call on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services.
