Robert Zimmermann's Obituary
Robert Zimmermann, 70, passed on Thursday evening, June 11, 2026 at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ after battling a period of declining health. Robert was born in New York, NY to the late Frances (Smolinsky) and William Zimmermann.
Robert worked for many years as a security officer for several casinos in both Atlantic City and later Las Vegas, NV before moving back home to the South Jersey area. An avid gearhead, he spent his free time riding motorcycles, tinkering in the garage, and turning project cars into labors of love. He was equally at home on the gun range, where he enjoyed competing in precision shooting tournaments.
Robert leaves his memory to be cherished by three brothers William, Richard, and Michael Zimmermann and a sister Joanne Zimmermann amongst a host of additional nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his late parents Frances and William Zimmermann.
Services will be held privately at the discretion of the family.
