Robert T. Facemyer's Obituary
Robert T. Facemyer, 64 of Millville died late Thursday evening March 2, 2006 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland. He had been in failing health for several months.
Born in Bridgeton the son of the late Robert Facemyer and Elizabeth nee Melchiorre Facemyer-Trego, he was the wife of Wilma Frazier Facemyer. Formerly a Bridgeton resident, he lived in Millville the past two years.
Mr. Facemyer was formerly employed with the West Company in Millville for 31 years until its closing. He then was employed with Caesar?s Hotel and Casino for 14 years as a Security Operations Specialist and was responsible for his department to be the first recipient of the Excellence Award. While at the West Company he also was instrumental in establishing the first, First Aid room for workers. He was a 10 year veteran of the Bridgeton Fire Dept. and also formerly worked as an EMT in the Bridgeton Emergency room.
Surviving besides his wife of 47 years are, one son Richard W. Facemyer and his wife Bonnie of Pittsgrove Twsp., three daughters, Wanda L. and her husband Rev. Dr. Scott Carr Sr. of Upper Deerfield Twsp. , Vicki L. Fowler and her husband Tony, of Newport , Tenn., and Debra A. Dahlquist and her husband David Sr. of Venice , Fla. , twelve grandchildren Dawn Liberati, Kevin Facemyer, Scott Carr Jr., Alisha and Melody Carr, Joshua, Erin, James, Heather, and Autumn Fowler, David III and Devyn Dahlquist, and two great grandchildren Dasia and Thomas Liberati.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services Monday evening March 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 62 Landis Ave. at Carll?s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twsp. Mr. Facemyer?s son in law the Rev. Dr. Scott Carr Sr. and the Rev. Jamie Bagley will be conducting funeral services. The interment will take place on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton.
Friends may call on Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers , the family suggest contributions be made in Mr. Facemyer?s memory to the building fund of Carll?s Corner Community Fellowship Church c/o CCCF 1496 State Highway 77, Bridgeton NJ 08302.
