Robert Blake's Obituary
Robert Blake of Wilmington Delaware, passed away late Thursday evening December 12, 2019 in Christiana Hospital; he was 68 years old. Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Lafayette Blake and Della Anderson Johnson; he had also previously lived in Millville, Salem, and Florida prior to his moving to Delaware earlier this year.
Robert was known by all as “Felt”. He was always pressed and polished in his dress, and he enjoyed playing chess, fishing and spending quality time with family. He previously worked for the Salem Sunbeam Newspaper. Felt is survived by his children, Robert, Juquieta, Keema Mae, Richard, Areatha, Andres, Lamar, and Toshekia, a son in law Daniel Preston, his best friend Henry Zap Wright, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his siblings Dorathea, Marilyn “Peaches” Dalphine, and Andrus, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Felt was predeceased besides his parents by a son Jonathan, two sisters Carolyn and Maxine, four brothers Charles, Douglas, Donald and Teddy. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday December 21, 2019 at 12:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. till 12:00p.m.. Cremation and inurnment will take place privately in the Camden County Crematory, Waterford Twp.
