Ricky T. Yamamoto's Obituary
Ricky T. Yamamoto, 65 of Millville, formerly of Seabrook, passed away on Thursday afternoon January 3, 2013 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland, surrounded by his family.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of Utaka (nee Yasutake) Yamamoto, and the late Roy Yamamoto, and the fiance’ of Deborah Robbins. Ricky was a Bridgeton High School graduate with the class of 1965. He was employed with Alcan Tubedraw in Millville as a welder for 16 years until his retirement in 2011. He also had previously worked for Kimble Glass Co. as a welder and metal fabricator, and the Welder/ Pipe Fitters Local 322 where he traveled working as a welder on several Nuclear Plants up and down the eastern coast. He was very talented and gifted, working with his hands in many fields and enjoyed woodworking and making jewelry. He will be remembered and missed by many. Surviving him besides his mother Utaka, and fiance’ Deborah is his daughter, Traci Mensh and her husband Mark of Egg Harbor Twp., his two brothers, Paul Yamamoto of Vineland, and Gary Yamamoto and his wife Cheryl of Pittsgrove Twp. his two grandchildren, Evan Mensh and Jamie Mihalecz, and a special niece, Meghan Yamamoto. At the family’s request funeral services will be held privately. The interment will be in Pittsgrove Presbyterian Cemetery Daretown.. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp..
