Richard "Dicky" Rainear's Obituary
Richard “Dicky” Rainear aged 74 years of Bridgeton, passed away suddenly on Saturday evening October 28, 2017 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Thelma (nee Smallwood) Rainear, and the husband of Barbara (nee Busnardo) Rainear.
Dicky was employed for over forty years as a truck driver with BW Stetson Company in Bridgeton, until his retirement. He then began working for the past ten years as a delivery driver for Bob Novick Auto in Bridgeton. He was a member of Mead Woodward VFW Post #1795 in Bridgeton and also the Fifth Ward Club in Bridgeton. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, “Go EAGLES” and he loved the Phillies also. In his younger years, he coached Little League Baseball in Bridgeton. He enjoyed traveling with his many friends, but he above all loved his family.
Surviving besides his wife Barbara, are his children David Rainear and his wife Deidra of Estell Manor, Dawn Stadler and her husband John of Millville, Rev. Kevin Rainear and his wife Megan of North Carolina, two brothers Albert Rainear Jr. and Carl Rainear, sister Sharon Wilczynski, grandchildren Deanna Rainear, David Rainear Jr., Kasey Rodriguez, Emily Stadler, Jenna Stadler, Michael Rainear, Matthew Rainear, Nathan Rainear, Eliana Rainear, several friends, and various other relatives. He was predeceased besides his parents by a son Richard “Ricky” Rainear Jr. and two grandchildren, Shannon Rainear, and Christopher Woodward.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday November 3, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends may call from 10:00 till 11:30a.m. prior to the services. The interment will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Twp.
