Rebecca Pierce's Obituary
Rebecca Pierce, aged 85 years of Millville, passed away at her home under the care of hospice and her family on Monday morning May 21, 2018.
Born in Bridgeton, she was raised by her grandparents the late Warren and Ruth (nee Pierce) Gould, and she was the wife of Raymond Pierce. She and her husband have been area residents all of their lives.
Rebecca formerly worked at Mark Manufacturing for 20 years and had also worked for some time at the Rainbow Nursing Center in Pittsgrove Twp. She loved going to yard sales and shopping with her daughter Renee. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who truly loved her family.
Besides her husband Raymond, she is survived by her children: Richard Lee Pierce Sr., Ronnie A. Pierce, Rosemary Egbert and her husband Chuck, Roy A. Pierce, and Rebecca Renee Pierce, her sisters: Cordelia Ashton, Henrietta Durham, Mary Jane Pierce, Ruth Ann Pierce, Dorothy Pierce, Ella May Durham, brothers: William Durham and Charles Durham, five grandchildren: Temika Pierce, Richard Pierce Jr., James W. Wandall, Danielle Pierce, and Evan Pierce, two great grandchildren: Kyle Pierce, and Ronnie A. Pierce Jr. She was predeceased by a son Raymond J. Pierce Jr., and brothers: Hughee Durham, Elwood Durham, and Herbert Durham.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday at 1:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp.. The interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.. Friends may call on Friday morning from 11:00 – 1:00p.m. prior to the services.
