Raymond Lester "Sonny" Mosley Jr.'s Obituary
Raymond L “Sonny” Mosley Jr., 77, passed away Friday afternoon November 11,2022, in Virtua Hospital Voorhees after an extensive illness. Born in Salem NJ to the late Raymond Lester Sr. And Sarah P Mosley, and the husband of June O. (Ingram) Mosley. Sonny and June lived in Willingboro for the past 35 years.
Sonny attended both the Glassboro Academy School and Glassboro High School. He went to work in Philadelphia for EATON Corporation from 1964-1982 and celebrated his retirement at SEPTA as a Millwright. He was a member of the Willingboro East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.
Sonny enjoyed gardening and growing his own fresh vegetables. He loved watching football and was a huge EAGLES fan. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend.
Surviving him besides his wife June are his children: Kimberly Moore Goldsboro and her husband Jeffrey of Upper Deerfield Twp, Raymond Stephen Mosley of Georgia; his stepchildren, Dionne Redden of Berlin, NJ and Trey Redden of West Virginia, his siblings, Rebecca Jane Mosley of Franklinville, Roger Lee Mosley and his wife Cyrilla of Florida, and Robin Dale Mosley Brown Reicher of Delaware, four grandchildren, Rayven Mosley, Walter Cameron Moore, Ryan Moore, Mariah Redden, two great grandchildren, Eloise Moore, Amelia Moore, a special friend Christopher Vafiades, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather the Honorable Joseph H. Rainey.
Family and friends are invited attend funeral services on Friday November 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. A viewing will be held from 11:00 till 12:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in memory of Sonny to the Willingboro East Jehovah Witness Congregation 7 Creek View Road Willingboro, NJ 08046.
