Raymond L. Munson's Obituary
Raymond L. Munson, 81 of Fairfield Twsp., died late Sunday evening April 15, 2007 at the home of his sister Roberta Jones. He had been in failing health for the past three years.
Born in Fairfield Twsp., he was the son of the late Thomas and Carolyn nee Gould Munson. He had been a lifelong resident of the Fairfield Twsp area.
Mr. Munson was formerly employed with Woodruff Oil Co. in Bridgeton for 34 years, as an installer until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, and farming. He was often seen at his roadside market selling his many vegetables on Buckshutem Rd.
Survivors include his sister Roberta Jones of Fairfield Twsp., and one brother Elmer Munson and his wife Beatrice also of Fairfield Twsp., several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased besides his parents by one brother Thomas Munson, a sister in law Alberta Munson and one brother in law Warren Jones Sr.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twsp.
A private family viewing will be held on Thursday April 19, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be sent to Holy Redeemer Hospice Care, 150 9th Ave. Runnemede, NJ 08078.
