Ralph E. Durham's Obituary
Ralph E. Durham, 76 of Bridgeton, NJ passed away early Tuesday morning April 29, 2008 in South Jersey Extended Care, Bridgeton, where he had been a resident for the past year. He had been in failing health for several years.
Born and raised in Greenwich, NJ he was the son of the late Marvel and Rhoda nee Seeney Durham and the husband of Isabel "Tarpy" nee Loatman Durham. Mr. and Mrs. Durham had been residents of Bridgeton for the last 17 years and had previously lived in the Stathem's Neck area of Greenwich Twp. Mr. Durham had worked for several farms in the Greenwich area in his early years, and had also been employed with Green Giant Foods in Vineland and the former Hy Grade Bakery in Pennsville. Ralph enjoyed Country music and was an avid Harmonica player. He was also a member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton. Ralph loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, and will be sorely missed by all. Surviving him besides his wife Isabel, are two sons Gary E. Durham and his wife Darlene of Fairton, and Ralph C. Durham and his wife Jacqueline of Parlin, NJ, two brothers Edward Durham of Tacoma, Washington, and Joseph Durham of Arkansas, and one sister Rhoda Durham of Dover Delaware, his former daughter in law Marilyn Durham of Fairton, four grandchildren Brad Lee Durham, Nikki Durham, Wyatt Durham, and Amanda Durham, and several nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by four brothers Allen Durham Sr., Marvel Durham Jr., Jerry Durham, and Raymond Durham, and four sisters Francis Wilson, Helen Loatman, Lydia Morris, and Sally Miller.
