Rachelle Bard's Obituary
Rachelle Bard, aged 36 years of Vineland, passed away at home Wednesday evening March 15, 2018 after a short but courageous battle with cancer; she was surrounded by her family.
Born in Bridgeton, June 28, 1981, she was the daughter of Gary Bonner Sr. and Lucy Bard. She had been an area resident all of her life.
Rachelle was employed as a Group Home Counselor with the Cumberland County Guidance Center in Millville. She loved her job and was a conscientious hard worker. She attended Trinity A.M.E. Church in Gouldtown. Rachelle loved traveling and upon learning of her illness, recently went on a cruise. She enjoyed trips to the beach with her family. She was strong willed, determined, and a loving caring mother to her children.
She is survived by her father Gary Bonner Sr., mother Lucy Bard and her companion Lawrence “Buddy” Cuff, her children: Dontae A. Purnell, Amir I. Linder, Victoria E. Hagan, Avery B. Hagan, Shaelyn M. Purnell, a brother Gary Bonner Jr. and sister Rashanda Bonner, several cousins, many friends, and various other relatives.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 12:00 noon from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp.. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 11:00 – 12:00p.m. Interment will be in Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp..
