Phyllis C. James' Obituary
Phyllis C. James 67 of West Suffield Connecticut, passed away Thursday evening May 29, 2008 in Hartford Hospital, Hartford CT. Although she had been in failing health for the past two years, her death was unexpected.
Born in Hopewell Twp. she was the daughter of the late Francis Sr. and Pauline nee Pierce Price, and the wife of the late Joseph D. James. She had been a resident of Connecticut for the past three years, where she lived with her daughter and prior to, she had lived in Deerfield Twp. Phyllis was formerly employed as a bus driver for the Woodland Country Day School and was a long time member of Union Baptist Temple Church here in Bridgeton.
She was a caring mother and grandmother who truly loved her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Carla J. Lee and her husband Eddie of Agawam, Massachusetts and Dawn L. James of West Suffield, Connecticut, one brother Francis Price Jr. of Savannah, Georgia, and one sister Eleanor James and her husband Gilbert of Deerfield Twp., three grandchildren Courtney Jordan James-Blocker, Marzjani Lindell James-Henderson and Abigail Madison Lee. She was predeceased besides her husband and parents by one brother Roger Price and two sisters Joan Baldwin and Bernice Price
