Perry "Fuddy" Loatman's Obituary
Perry "Fuddy" Loatman, 68 of Bridgeton, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday evening May 11, 2021 in Cooper Medical Center, Camden. Born July 4, 1952 in Bridgeton, he was the son of Sigrid Cuff Loatman and the late Leon Loatman Sr.
Fuddy was a musician his whole life, beginning with LCRB and playing with many fellow musicians and friends. He fulfilled his greatest dream of publishing a CD with his favorite original songs and played in several local restaurants and taverns. He was a also a fisherman and enjoyed fishing from his boat and "Fighting the Enemy" in video games. Fuddy proudly served his country as a firefighter in the US Air Force. He was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe of Bridgeton, and loved attending the Tribe's Pow Wow held every June. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and trips to the beach.
Left to cherish his memory are his former wife Eddy and his children; Nikki Harvey (Joe) of Elmer, and Damien Loatman (Tina) of Egg Harbor Township, Pop Pop is also survived by his four grandchildren; Jaxson, Elisabeth, and Owen Harvey of Elmer, and Lilyana Loatman of Egg Harbor Township, his mother Sigrid, and siblings: Bruce Loatman of Arizona, Leon Loatman (Norma) of Pittsgrove Township, and Keith Loatman (Bernice) of Texas, many cousins and friends. Besides his father Leon, Fuddy was predeceased by a brother Timothy Loatman. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 29,2021 at 2:00 pm at Sray-Webster Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
