Percival L. Pierce's Obituary
Percival L. Pierce, “Percy”, passed away suddenly and unexpected on Thursday December 10, 2020 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Born in Bridgeton, April 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Percival Pierce and Florence M. Pierce, and the husband of Darlia Morris Pierce. Percy was employed with Cumberland Dairy as a custodian for 16 years until his retirement in 2018. After his retirement, he operated a lawn care service and had also formerly worked at the former SteveCoKnit company in Bridgeton. Percy also served in the Army National Guard.
Surviving him is his wife Darlia, his son, Charles “Chucky” Pierce, a daughter, Janet Pierce, stepson, Sam Mosley, one sister, Louvica Gould and husband John, three brothers, William Pierce and Robbin, Nelson Pierce and Marlee, and George Pierce, and two grandchildren, Kayla, and Jasmin. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Arlene and Janet, and his brother James. Cremation and inurnment of the cremains will take place in the Camden County Crematory.
