Paul G. Baitinger Jr.'s Obituary
Paul G. Baitinger of Upper Deerfield Twp., passed away on Wednesday afternoon at his home under hospice care with his family by his side. He was 95 years old. Born in Deerfield, NJ he was the son of the late Paul G. Sr. and Eliza (nee Cattell) Baitinger and the husband of the late Doris M. Baitinger who passed away in 2008.
Mr. Baitinger was a long time area resident, and he and his wife also lived for ten years in Staurt, Florida. He worked for 20 years as a mechanic at A.I. DuPont Chemical Plant until his retirement. He was a former member of the Upper Deerfield Fire and Rescue Squad Station #32 Seabrook and also a member of the Upper Deerfield Ambulance Association. He loved playing the harmonica and was seldom without it in his pocket. He enjoyed playing Pinochle and he and his late wife enjoyed camping. Paul and his wife Doris also delivered the former Bridgeton Evening News to area residents for 18 years. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great grands.
He is survived by his three daughters, Margaret Blizzard and her husband Kenny of Hopewell Twp., Sharon Campbell and her husband Ron Sr. of Shiloh, Shirley Reich and her husband Ken of Vineland, a sister, Jean VanVliet of Wilmington DE, eight grandchildren, Douglas Clark Jr., Raymond Clark Jr., Jeremy Clark, Brian, Kevin, and Kenny Blizzard, Ron Jr., and Brad Campbell, four great grandchildren, Ashley Clark, Savannah Campbell, Carolina Campbell, Annie Jo Blizzard, and a sister in law he was very close to, Mary Ellen Baitinger. He was predeceased besides his parents and wife, a son, Paul G. Baitinger III, his sisters, Marion Dwyer, Helen Reaser, Harriet Rector, Ann Gubbine, and brother, John Baitinger.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 11:00a.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll's Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. till 11:00a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Deerfield Methodist Church Cemetery, Deerfield, NJ.
